Contact form and Netlify Forms
The form asks for your name, work email address, selected service and project message; company is optional. When the site is hosted on Netlify, submissions are received and stored by Netlify Forms on behalf of Hephos Engineering. Netlify also uses Akismet for automated spam filtering. To receive submissions by email, the site administrator must configure a Netlify notification for contact@hephos-engineering.com. Submissions are also available to authorized administrators in the Netlify dashboard, where they can be deleted. If you switch languages while completing the form, this browser temporarily stores a draft in sessionStorage for that tab so it can be restored on the other language version; it is cleared after a successful submission or when the tab session ends. Please do not submit confidential or special-category personal data through the form.
We use inquiry details to respond to your request and, where relevant, to take steps before entering into a contract. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps or contract performance, and otherwise on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in handling business inquiries. If you contact us directly by email, your message is processed by the email providers used to send and receive it.
Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. When you access it, the hosting provider may process technical connection data and server logs needed to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the website. These may include your IP address, browser and operating-system details, referrer URL, requested host or page, and the time of the request.

International data transfers

Retention
We keep inquiry details only as long as needed to respond and manage the resulting business relationship. We delete submissions from the Netlify dashboard when they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention duties require longer storage. Netlify’s own retention and deletion terms also apply to its processing.
Your data protection rights
Subject to legal requirements, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Providing the required contact-form fields is necessary for us to respond; without them, we may be unable to handle your inquiry. We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based on contact-form data.
Google Analytics
With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-92FRXMSZ8Q), provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to measure visits, page views, device and browser information, referral sources and interactions. Analytics cookies can recognise returning browsers. Google Analytics is blocked until you accept analytics in our privacy settings. Advertising storage and advertising personalization remain disabled.
Processing is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Your consent choice and Analytics cookies are stored for up to six months. Event data retention depends on the settings in our Google Analytics property. Data may be processed by Google LLC in the USA. Further information about processing and international transfers is available in Google’s privacy policy.
You can reject analytics or withdraw consent at any time using Privacy settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops future collection in this browser and removes accessible Analytics cookies; it does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
